My answer was, go do something.

Something that lots of other people want to do but struggle to do.

Then go do it at an extraordinary level.

Become world class at it.

The best that there is at that.

Then come back and tell us how you did it.

It's easy to find people willing to give you advice.

It's hard to find people with advice worth giving.

Ideas are cheap, advice is easy, and too often giving advice is something that people

do to reinforce their own deflated sense of self.

Often the people dispensing the advice are the ones who need it themselves the most.

The simple criteria that you want to find a mentor is who has been where you are headed.

Not read about it, not just seeing the pictures, they have done what you want to do.

They have already taken the trip, they have mapped out the route, and they now can significantly
