Hi everyone, Ronnie here. You're listening to Clean with me, the podcast about cleaning to listen to

0:11.9

while you clean. So this episode is not the usual cleaning talk through where I go into detail in what you're probably doing during the episode.

0:28.6

But that said, if you want to use it that way, now would be the time to maybe light a candle, freshen up, start with your high priority areas, maybe your

0:40.1

front room, your kitchen, or you might just be using this episode to fold laundry or tackle

0:46.8

a mountain of dishes. So go ahead and do whatever you want to do, of course, as always, use this

0:53.6

podcast how you want. But in this course, as always, use this podcast how you want.

0:55.7

But in this episode, I'm going to be discussing what to do on days when you don't clean your whole house.

1:04.4

Now, if you're not new to my podcast, you probably know that I talk a lot about a whole house approach where you go

1:13.2

into every room of your house during your cleaning session but obviously there are certain days

where you don't do that there are those minimum days if you work all week and your kids are at school or you know you might be

1:31.4

cleaning more on Saturday and doing that whole house approach once a week I've noticed

1:37.8

when I do kind of research I read a lot of cleaning blogs and things like that

1:42.8

kind of just to get ideas for the show.

1:45.6

Obviously, I talk mainly about what I do, what works for me, what I recommend, but I like to kind of get a feel for what other people are doing.

1:54.5

And I've noticed a lot of times when I see an article about cleaning your whole house, it's kind of assumed that it's a weekly clean.

2:05.0

The reason it's not that way for me is because I have a heavier load, I think, than some people.

2:13.0

Obviously, we all have to do the same chores around our house, but as far as dishes, laundry,

2:20.3

there are six of us living here and the kids are homeschooled. So I feel like there's a lot of

2:30.8

housework. It would be too much for me to do on a Saturday and the house wouldn't look good

2:36.4

in between. But I do recognize, you know, that a weekly clean might be enough. And here's what

2:44.4

would make a weekly clean enough for someone if they have really good habits of cleaning as they

2:50.5

go and picking up after themselves.
