while you clean. This episode is going to be a cleaning power hour.

First, I'm going to talk about what I did this morning.

I am recording this on Saturday.

I got up early.

I had some coffee and got dressed, put my hair up in a bun washed my face put mascara on my top lashes

just basically got freshened up so make sure you're freshened up looking presentable enough to

clean doesn't have to be anything fancy. But if you look good,

you feel good. So you want to be comfortable with your appearance. Usually I tell you to light a candle.

You might want to do that at this time. I did not do that this morning. But, you know, it's optional.

I like having scented candles when I'm cleaning

but I really just didn't think about it this morning it was very early I closed

the kids bedroom doors so that I wouldn't disturb them while they were sleeping

and I just went to town in the kitchen the first thing I did was I started throwing away trash.

My waist basket was actually outside kind of soaking. I was deep cleaning that yesterday

and kind of forgot about it. So I just grabbed a big black trash bag, started throwing away trash. Our Saturday morning

in trash included pizza boxes, empty water bottles, things like that. I just started throwing

away trash. That's often the first step unless I'm in a real hurry to wash dishes. But we weren't behind on dishes

or anything like that. So I started throwing away trash, putting things away. Inevitably,

some boxes of cereal and things tend to get left out on my countertop. I don't care what time

a day it is. Serial is appearing on my countertop.
