come before you today. We thank you, Lord God, for the message that's before us. We pray that we

would be good students of your word. And Lord, that we'd leave this building today as a church

of different people. Our nation needs different people. Our nation needs forgiven people, redeemed people.

Lord God, frankly, it's coming down to the wire.

It's getting pretty obvious.

It doesn't matter so much.

We could have all the policies

and we could have all the military

which we're grateful for.

But unless the church wakes up out of her coma, what will it profit us if our nation gain the entire world, as it were,

in finance or in power, but lose your own soul? The same is true for our families. The same is true for ourselves. What should it

profit us if we gain the entire world and its wealth and wind up in the end losing our own soul?

Lord, speak to us. We pray out of your word. We pray now in Jesus' name and all God's people said.

Amen. I'm going to ask you

to stand everybody, and I'm going to try to talk a little faster than normal. I want to get through

this. I really want to get through this massive section today, and I always start out, every sermon,

I start out with great hope, and I wind up being very, very disappointed

knowing that I didn't even come close to finishing.

But I want to finish today.

At the same time, you know, you want to be open to the Holy Spirit.

That's my covering.
