1:01.5	chapter 14, verses 8 through 9. And this is a section where the Apostle Paul is teaching us
1:09.9	about our manner of life and the way that we worship
1:14.5	God with the way we live. So before we dig in, let's pray together that God's truth will be revealed
1:21.7	to us in a way we can grasp today. Our Lord and our God, we love this book of Romans. Thankful that you've given it to us through
1:30.3	the pen of the Apostle Paul. Lord guide us today as we read chapter 14 verses 8 through 9 to understand
1:36.7	your heart for us in the way we live and worship. We ask it in Jesus' name. Amen. Okay, so as we read today, we are picking up where the
1:46.4	Apostle Paul left off yesterday saying that whatever we do in terms of how we worship the Lord,
1:51.8	we're doing it in honor of the Lord. And then he says here in verse 8, for if we live, we live to the
1:58.3	Lord. And if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or we live, we live to the Lord. And if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die,
2:06.2	we are the Lord's. For to this end, Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead
