You know what this kind of looks like? You know when you're about to get on one of those roller coasters and it has the harness on? That is exactly what

those seats look like. So no joke, low-cost airlines will officially launch standing-only seats

beginning in 2026 to increase capacity, apparently by 20% and lower fares.

This is a bold move to do in 2025, considering all the planes that have been in the news.

I don't want to feel any less suspicious on my Delta flight.

airfare expenses, several budget airlines will introduce standing only seating options beginning

in 2026. After extensive discussions, this unconventional seating arrangement has finally met

regulatory requirements and past safety evaluations.

The new design includes bike style padded perch seats that enable passengers to lean rather than sit,

potentially boosting aircraft capacity by up to 20%. So I love this idea for offering cheaper tickets,

but the problem is that's not what's going to happen,

is the standing room is going to become the cost of a seat now,

and then a seat is going to be like double, and that's annoying.

I could not imagine sitting in a seat like that.

Because one, I'm not a fan of riding a bike because it hurts my hoo-ha too much.
