Can you even make this stuff up?

After all the futility, all the losing seasons, all the bad football, all the one, two,

three win chiefs teams, all of the things that have happened through the years, all the

futility in Manhattan and Lawrence and Columbia, did we just spend an entire six-month period watching football where KUK

State, Missouri all went to bowl games? Kansas State won a big 12 title and the Chiefs won a

Super Bowl? Did this just happen right here? I mean, I can't really say we're the epicenter

or the center of the universe here for football, but I think

this might have been the best football season I've ever seen in my life. I certainly don't know,

nor am I accustomed to this happening, where everyone is good all the time, all year, and it was

simply spectacular. Now, Stan is here. The reason we waited a couple of days is to ponder

questions like that. We have now learned since the game on Sunday that the Chief's

famous play to Cadarius Tony is called Corn Dog. We've learned that Creed Humphrey,

the center, made a gesture with his hand and a signal with five fingers or four fingers in a

thumb to Patrick Mahomes that led to him running 26 yards.

We've learned about the parade.

We've seen Patrick Mahomes tweet out that he wants everybody there.

We know he's going to be tossing Bud lights to people.
