Apropos, Adam, because yesterday, my big takeaway from the weekend was the Niners' offense got stuffed into a locker by the Seattle defense.

And I wonder if Philadelphia watched that and said, maybe our defense not as good as we thought will break that down and try to fix the Eagles defense.

What's next for the Eagles defense, which many people, Adam, I think, said was pretty good this year. But after watching what the Niners were unable to do against Seattle, do you reevaluate that at all? Not really. I mean, some of the things we knew about we're going to get to, Mike, in a minute. But no, I know that's the new narrative. Oh, the defense was good. Look, they got out scheme, okay?

Eagles got beat over the middle repeatedly. It shouldn't have happened. DeMarcus Robinson, we talked about him on our pregame show with Greg Cosell. Didn't think that would happen, but it did. We wanted to make sure we met because he was going to play a pivotal role bigger than we thought. I mean, look, think about it. George Kittle gets hurt in the first half, torn Achilles.

It's just great scheming.

Great scheming, great scheme and design. They got beat by scheme design and execution. That's what happened. But it doesn't mean they don't have some issues, and they have some. There's no question about it. All right. We're going to take a look at him right now, Adam Kaplan, from the Inside the Byrds podcast, which you can get on all podcasting platforms.

Let's start with – it really was a problem early in the season from game one.

It kind of got better with Dory Jackson as the year went on.

But what do they do opposite Quinnon Mitchell?

Yeah, so, Mike, look, they got away with it.

We'll say this much with the Dory Jackson.

He got torched in game one against the Cowboys,

and then it sort of leveled off.

Every once in a while, give up a play,

but he was not picked on as much as we thought would happen.

It just didn't happen, but you did see a little bit against the honors that it happened. So his contracts up. Right now they have a major hall, opposite Quinnia Mitchell. They don't have that guy right now. They don't have a minor contract. Keeler-Ringo definitely is not a really, really play on defense. Jacarion Bennett, big disappointment. Got hurt, but it was a non-factor before he got hurt and after. I'm back with Williams doesn't really factor in. He's more of a nickel. And Michael Carter's, you know, nickel at a safety. Now, the big question is, Mike, and this plays in a lot of their off-season plans. Is Cooper decision just going to be a nickel? Do they want to move to the position that he was drafted for a corner? Or do they want to play with safety? And I know there's a thought inside the building that he could be a safety someday. By the way, re-blanketship's contract is up. All of this plays into it, Mike. Everything that I just mentioned is in their thought process. Where's this going to line up?
