You guys hit us up because you want us to have like some closure on some storylines which

we inevitably forget about.

We do this often on the virtue.

And we got an email from Kayla Castleberry and she's like, hello, virtue fam.

I've been wanting a follow up Thursday for a while now and just getting around to writing.

It was about a year ago.

A guy forgot his 10 year anniversary with his wife to go to a super bowl party.

And, arguably, it caused a big time problem.

I'd love to find out if that couple ever made it through that.

So, Cassie, what were the deeds again on that?

Our listener and her husband promised one another that they'd go over the top for their

10th anniversary.

Together, they planned on taking a long trip on the weekend of their anniversary, but

her husband forgot about their trip and decided to go to a super bowl party instead.

Our listener was crushed, but she decided not to confront him about the situation.

And instead, she decided to go on the trip solo.

Cass made the tension in their marriage worse, but her husband was remorseful.

He agreed to go to counseling with her and he even rebooked the trip.

She was hopeful that things in their marriage would get better.
