and we leave things open for you.

And now we got to tie him in a nice little bow.

And today it had everything to do with a former background check that we did.

So I listened to Lina requested a background check on a potential roommate named Marissa.

And Lana had a previous terrible experience with a roommate named Claire, who disappeared with her furniture, left unpaid bills, and put her at risk of eviction.

Lina reached out to us to do a background check on her new potential roommate.

The background check on Marissa showed that she has a stable job and no criminal record or evictions.

But Marissa has been a co-signer on three leases in two years, all ending in disputes.

So Marissa had also changed jobs four times in the last year.

So we advised Lana not to take the risk on Marissa despite her desperate housing situation.

So did she take our advice or did she go with her own?

Marissa moved in with me a week after our phone call.

Honestly, I was just so desperate for help that I realized I would have let anyone with a stable job in no criminal record move in.

But first, I sat down with her to see if I could sniff out any liability issues.
