Summary
As an attempt to fight homophobia during the AIDS crisis in the late 80s, LGBT folks put a lot pressure on each other to come out of the closet. After all, silence equals death.
One of the entertainers most widely speculated about was Whitney Houston, who was long rumored to be hiding her bisexuality.
In Kevin Macdonald’s new documentary “Whitney” we get a glimpse at the life of the greatest vocalists of the 20th century- her complex sexuality, her underlying trauma and the struggles that may have led to her untimely death.
