Hey, we're on. Welcome everybody, the Jim Acosta show. It is Wednesday. And as you can see, you might have already picked up on this. Former Senator John Tester of Montana is with me. And Senator, I don't have to tell you what we're going through right now in America. You know this all too well. And just in the last several minutes,

the Associated Press put out a news alert. And I asked the question, are we already crossing

some constitutional red lines and Trump using military force and local law enforcement?

The AP reporting that the National Guard troops there in L.A. have already temporarily

detained civilians in the L.A. protest over the immigration

raids. That's according to the commander in charge there. And he said about 500 of the National

Guard troops have been trained so far to accompany agents on immigration operations. Senator,

your response to that, let's just jump right into it. I always thought you're not supposed to do this,

you know, posse comitatis and so on. Well, you're right. I mean, if you look, Jim, if you look back,

the people, the people, Republicans were said, were told, don't go out and do town all meetings.

So you're going to cut off your constituents. So the constituents don't

hear their voices heard. So they're standing up. And there may be a knucklehead or two in a bunch.

And they may be put in by the folks who are the immigration people too, by the way. But the

truth is, the vast, vast, vast majority of these people just want to have their voices be heard.

And now they're going to use the military to arrest them like God.
