Once again, California has it all.

In the states across the country fight a resurgent, COVID virus at the California State Government,

it's going to start requiring state employees and those who work in the healthcare to prove

that they have been vaccinated.

Calling the action a guidance and not a mandate, the policy will go into effect in early

August and will apply to about a quarter million state employees.

Then of course there's climate change.

All fires are burning across Northern California with the Dixie Fire, now the largest

wildfire of the year, rising heat, killing off salmon in the Sacramento River.

The government is asking residents to reduce water usage to fight drought.

Of course then there's the recall.

On September 14th, California, we'll hold a vote over Governor Gavin Newsom's future.

Newsom will be the second governor in state history to face a recall vote after Governor

Gray Davis was recalled in 2003, a challenge that saw Davis lose and Arnold Schwarzenegger

take his place.

According to a new poll from UC Berkeley in the LA Times, Californians are pretty evenly

divided over whether to remove Newsom.

47% say they support removing it.

50% said he should stay.

A lot of that depends on who you think is going to vote in this recall.
