There is a category of plant that we've barely ever grown. Have you ever grown this plant,

junk? I have not. Never. Never. Not in my... I tried once. And how'd that go? It didn't.

The plant we're talking about today are the category are bulbs. So flowering bulbs,

daffodils, tulips, these sorts of things. Technically we both have, but they were more

quarms because we grew dolias or tubers. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. So we grew dolias, which, you know,

actually doesn't count because they're not botanically the same at all, but like the

principles are semi-similar. Anyways, we're talking about bulbs today because pretty soon on

the YouTube channel, we're doing a bulbs 101 with our newest gardener here on the staff at Epic

Gardening, which if you're listening to the podcast, I'm just going to spoil it. I'll give you

a little teaser. And this is what you get for being a faithful Epic Gardening podcast listener.

Even though it has been a little bumpy this year and episodes haven't come out as frequently,

as we would have liked. We are remedying that. And the new creator here is Brianna from Blossom

and Branch Farms out in Colorado. She's a cut flower farmer and a grower. She'll grow for wedding.

She'll grow for bridal showers. She'll sell at the market. She just, she plants like 4,000 bulbs

every fall. Yeah, definitely respect something that neither of us are good at because like to be a good

flower farmer, you have to be a really good planner. Different game, different game completely. And

you also have to be extremely good at harvest windows. Yeah. You know, if I miss, if I miss it

tomato, it's like not that big a deal. But if you miss your tulips, you're like, okay, well,

I can't sell this anymore, right? So anyways, doing some bulbs this year, where do we get our bulbs from?

So I think we actually are getting our bulbs from the local nursery, right? Yeah. Yeah.

So the deal is with bulbs, like the reason why I personally haven't grown them is that we're just

not very cold here. And most bulbs, not all bulbs, but most bulbs, especially the ones that I've seen
