Daniel Alivra had a profile on the Tuskewilla Middle School website that described a man

with Peace Corps experience, overseas teaching stints in

Samoa and South Korea, and two daughters of his own. A neighbor who lived in the same Oviedo

subdivision described him as a very nice young man when he arrived at the school in August 2022.

The profile was still up when police arrested him at his home on Bextram Drive on

the night of March 31, 26, just last night.

LaLivera, 41, began dating the mother of one of his students around October 2023.

The relationship lasted roughly four months, ending in January, 2024. During that time, the woman and her children,

including her 13-year-old daughter, who was La Livera's student at Tuskewilla Middle School,

regularly spent nights at his home. According to the arrest affidavit, the romantic relationship

with the mother was never the goal. When it ended, Eliver told the woman directly,
