Today we are going to talk about a range of topics, but almost all of them come back

to the central issue of abortion and abortion rights, but a lot of it will be on

the electoral dimensions of the question.

And as we know, the policy and the political

and the personal dimensions of this

are always part of the politics. But in this set of issues. of this in that the Florida Supreme Court,

and we're just going to jump right into it here. The first thing we're going to talk about,

you've probably seen this, that the Florida Supreme Court,

which is one of these extremely stacked

Supreme Courts in the country.

You know, Florida's had, I believe Florida's had,

I feel like Lawton Childs was the last Democratic governor of Florida.

I'm pretty sure I'm right about that and that was back in the in the late 90s.

Because you know, you had Jeb,

and then you had Charlie Christ.

And then you had the guy who became senator, Rick Scott, and then you had

Desantis. So basically, you know, Florida hasn't had a Democratic governor in sort of

like modern political history basically.

I think even in the 21st century.

So you got a totally stacked Supreme Court, the state Supreme Court.

And this a few days ago they came out with a few different decisions. The upshot of that,
