It's been a wild 24 hours.

We'll get into all of it.

A great week, a weekend, really, a football, Andy. I am your host David Oben, my co-host, Andy Staples,

as always. But, Andy, we can't start with what happened on the field. This is going to be,

we're going to take a page from the NBA podcast these days and talk about the intrigue off the field. There's a lot to get to, but we got to start,

Andy, in your neck of the woods. Billy Napier, well, he's the new Florida head coach. I think a lot of people had sort of penciled him in as the possible fallback option for LSU.

That did not really seem to be anything that LSU was interested in, Andy.

But Florida was.

Seems like Billy Napier was the guy that they targeted from the get-go.

You didn't even hear a lot of other names.

I would go so far as to say that they probably had narrowed it down pretty thoroughly before they

made the decision to hire or to fire Dan Mullen. And Napier kind of checked the boxes they want.

And I know it's sort of a real reflexive thing to hire the guy who's kind of the opposite of the guy you just fired.

I wouldn't.

These guys aren't exact opposite.

They're both offensive guys.

Both of them had great success at their previous stop, where they, you know, really kind of out did what that program was used to.
