one news item that is relevant to the minnesota vikings and then we've got some speculation and

so forth couple championship games coming up on the way and manny hill and i get together

late in the show to talk about you know know, maybe some rumors with Jordan Addison

and the San Francisco 49ers, as well as our favorite things about these matchups.

But this is a good time for your questions, comments, thoughts, feelings in the chat.

And we'll get to that pretty quickly and have a good conversation here this

evening. But want to start out with an update from the Brian Flores head coaching search because

as you recall, the Minnesota Vikings signed him to a new contract yesterday. But even in the

release announcing that he was coming back to Minnesota,

the Vikings did note unless he gets a head coaching job.

And some of you have asked, well, you know, could they have made it part of his contract

to not take a head coaching job?

The answer is no.

Like if he gets a head coaching opportunity, he can take it and he very much should take it.

But of all the teams that have openings, I got to tell you, I expected there to be 10 interviews for Brian Flores.

When you consider, and I know there's the lawsuit thing, and I've never really known what to make of that.

I think of the NFL owners as a group that tends to hell, you know, hold a grudge.

And they have certainly acted that way at times.
