I recently came across your podcast, and I have been enjoying it.

Listening to some other people's experiences has made me remember my own,

and I wanted to share and possibly hear your thoughts. I grew up in a small, quiet village

in rural New South Wales, Australia, called Nimitabel. When I was 12 or 13, my mother bought a cozy,

small cottage that was painted bright blue.

Nothing seemed out of place or sinister about this place. The previous occupant had been a nice

older woman who, I remember, sold it to be closer to family in Melbourne. This house had a

brilliant history, being one of the first buildings in Nimitabelle and over 200 years old

when my mother bought it. For the first year or so of living there, nothing out of the ordinary

happened. There were a few bumps and creeks in the night, but that happens with old houses.

I remember vividly my first ever paranormal experience. I was around 14 or so. I remember being

in quite a deep sleep when I was awoken suddenly by this creeping sensation that someone was

peering at me through the crack in my door. I sat up and looked over, and sure enough, I could

see the glint of two very human eyes peering at me.

At the time, I thought this was my brother, who sometimes would wake up in the early hours
