Hello, I've just got home after recording the latest episode of newscast, and it's quarter

0:09.2

to eight on Tuesday evening, and there's a bit of breaking party gate news.

0:13.8

And it's that Lord Geight, who is Boris Johnson's administrative standards adviser, has written

0:19.1

his annual report, and there's a section in there on party gate.

0:22.8

And as far as kind of Lord Geight pronouncements go, this one is quite strongly worded, and

1:15.2

And Boris Johnson is written back saying that he's made his case, he's apologized, he

1:19.9

thought he was following the rules at the whole time, and he didn't realise that he should

1:24.7

have to sort of respond in this way in relation to the ministerial code.

1:30.7

Also some other party gate news on Tuesday night, Keir Starmer, the Labour leader and Angela

1:35.2

Reiner, the deputy Labour leader have received questionnaires from Durham police who are investigating

1:40.6
