I'm excited to talk to you about my experience ahead on that.

So now you've finished with the Colorado Trail, and we're heading into a beautiful time

of year out here in the Northeast.

And you're coming out here and you're going to hike the Long Trail.

What encouraged you or influenced you to want to do that?

Well, I'd say a year ago I didn't know anything about it.

And like I was saying, I don't really like to watch a lot of videos if I'm going to

go do something.

I'd rather listen to a podcast and get the firsthand experience from someone that way,

as opposed to seeing what a Martin Good experience or having expectations that way.

And I mean, I read your book, and that's like the only actual, besides like some podcast

and some more episodes of your podcast, I think that's the only exposure I've really

gotten about the Long Trail.
