i'm your host victoria a laria today we are going to be talking about communication and more specifically

comprehension because communication is not the goal comprehension is. There's that saying that I think

I said it in, but I was saying, make sure that you surround yourself with people who speak the

same language as you. Otherwise, you're going to spend a lifetime translating

your soul. And that's kind of like a perfect saying, if you will, for just the understanding

and the concept of that like comprehension is a lot more important than communication.

Because if you are surrounded by people who don't get you, don't understand you,

who need you to translate everything, over explain everything, defend yourself all the time,

then it doesn't matter what you say. And it doesn't matter how many times you say it.

Because you could tell someone over and over and over, this hurts

my feelings. This is what I like. This is what I don't like. This bothers me. This is affecting

me. But if they don't comprehend it, it doesn't matter. It might as well go in one ear and
