Welcome to the Prophecy Prose Podcast.

I'm Jeff Kinley along with my compadre, Todd Hampson,

and we're excited to be here at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention.

It's really a gathering of all types of Christian ministries,

particularly those that work in the area of media. And we're here on the floor here, making a few

podcasts today and tomorrow. But listen, we're excited to talk about this subject today because

one of the biggest questions we get, in fact, it's repeated over and over and over

again, is, and they honestly taught from all over the world, people email us and say, my pastor,

it always begins with my pastor. And it usually leads to my pastor won't touch Bible prophecy.

My pastor has a different view. My pastor won't talk about revelation or Daniel or the end times or even current events or things that are happening in the world.

What do I do?

And you know, there are many reasons, Todd, we've talked about why pastors don't touch Bible prophecy.

I think it'd be good just to take a couple of minutes to hit on a few of these.

I've got like 10 listed in some of my books, but just to talk about a couple of them.

And I think one is the fact that many pastors, you know, most of the churches in America, 80% of the churches are under 200 people membership.

You may go to a larger church, but your church is not the norm. Most

of them are under 200. 60% of those are 60 and below. So the average church in America is

about 60 or 70 people. Yeah. So that's really the norm church. Now the pastors that are in those

churches might not be supported full-time by their congregation.

So they might be what we call bivocational pastors.

Maybe he sells real estate or he, you know, just cars or whatever.

But he has to do this, and he doesn't do it full-time.
