All right. Well, welcome back. This is part two of a two-part series on the podcast that we've been really excited to bring. And it's equipping pastors and encouraging pastors. So, but listen to the last episode, we talked about practical

tips for pastors who want to teach Bible prophecy and eschatology and maybe never have before.

encouragement and a lot of really practical tips. But today we're going to light the fire under

that and we're going to talk about five key reasons

for teaching Bible prophecy, if you never have before. So a lot of times knowing the why helps you do

the what. So that's what we're talking about today. Why teach Bible prophecy? Let's talk about these

five things, Jeff. Absolutely. And again, we've recognized that a lot of pastors don't teach Bible prophecy.

I've had pastors tell me everything from, you know, it doesn't contribute to discipleship, that kind of thing.

And I always just go back to, well, it's in the Bible.

You know, if it's in the Bible, then definitely we should be, we'd be teaching it out there.

But the purpose here is not to bash pastors.

You know, I was a pastor for 35 years or to, you know, jump on pastors cases or whatever.

We're here to encourage you. We're here to help a partner with you and to help you any way that we can

in helping your people be versed in the whole council of God. So that's one of the reasons why we do

the Prosity Post podcast. But I think one reason, Todd, and we've both written extensively on this

about why even teach on Bible prophecies, because the day that we're living in, we're in the lowest

levels of church attendance in American history.

We're in a day where there's more biblical illiteracy, not only in the church, but obviously

out there in the world, because there's no sense in culture of even a God consciousness

anymore. And when you start talking to someone about, you know, the Bible, about the historicity of Jesus,

about what's going on in the world today, that type of thing, people want to go, well, you know,
