Is drinking raw milk safe like RFK Jr. suggests? Can you reduce a glucose spike if you eat your food in, quote, unquote, the right order? I'm registered dietitian Abby Sharp. I host a nutrition myth-busting podcast called Bite Back with Abby Sharp. And those are just some of the questions I tackle with qualified experts on my show.

There is so much food misinformation and disinformation out there, and it can feel impossible

to know what's real and what's BS.

Welcome to the mom room. It is Thursday. I am recording this Thursday morning, so this is fresh from my mind and my vocal cords.

Yesterday was the first day of school. It was a busy day and it got to the evening. And I thought to myself, you know what? I'm just going to record and take my time to record in the morning as opposed to rushing to try and get it done last night. So here I am

he's totally fine now. I don't know if people do that at school. It would be nice if they did.

1:52.8

But yeah, hang in there. It is temporary and soon they're going to look forward to going to school.

2:02.7

his best friend from last year, or his best friend since he started at this school, I guess.

2:08.6

2:13.0

because he asked me if he was in her class on the way to school yesterday. And I was like, no, she's not.

2:19.3

Like, she's in the other class. And at first I thought he was going to get really upset. But he was

2:23.3

like, oh, like, that's sad, you know, just upset about it, but then completely recovered. And yesterday,

2:30.2

he made a point to tell me that, you know, every time it was recess or lunchtime, they got to spend time together.
