It is a cool morning.

Temperatures today a little bit cooler than normal for this time of year, which is okay because things are warming up.

And I'm looking forward to actually heading out

I love bugs.

It's a thing that I don't share with my wife, that she doesn't share with me.

I love watching them. I think they're fascinating.

I love the sound of bugs, and in the summer, it's really loud.

The bug sound, the bug chorus is really loud.

I've noticed, though, that even in the winter, I can still hear the bugs.

Every now and then, I'll walk past a grove of trees, and there's a softer chorus.

energy, maybe it's both, but I can still hear them. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to those

summer days, those summer mornings, when the sound of the bug chorus is overwhelming. And I suspect I'm not in the majority when it comes to my bug appreciation.

One of the things I think that we have to fight against from time to time as we pursue fitness and exercise is this idea that bigger is better.
