Okay, Tia, the 2023 CrossFit game season, very different for you.

Very different for me. I'm still not sure how I'm going to take it, but I've registered

for the Open, so I'm still going to be somewhat a part of it, but sitting on the sideline

at the CrossFit Games is definitely going to be a hard pill to swallow.

But you won't be sitting there just by yourself or just you and Shane.

They'll be a little one with you.

Yeah.

It's so exciting to think that we're just going to have the greatest gift in the world given to us throughout this season.

And it honestly couldn't have come at a better time.

You know, as you progress through

your career as an athlete, every year you're finding your why and, you know, why you want to go

back out on the floor and compete and why you want to put yourself through so much grind,

so much grit throughout the whole season. And, you know, this year, it was a bit

of a surprise because I was in full force going into a new season for 2023. But when everything

came out and the reality of being pregnant hit us, it was actually a really exciting moment. And the

surprise was actually so welcoming for us because, one, Shane has been wanting to start a family

for so long. And so have I. I've always, I've grown up wanting to be a mom,

you know, my whole life, but just never felt like there was a right time. And I don't know if there

ever is. So the fact that it happened, I can't help but think that it happened for a reason.

And we're just so excited. It forced you to have now as the perfect time

well i keep thinking to myself wow i'm getting this guilt-free holiday and i'm absolutely loving it my

body is getting the break that it needs because it's been doing it for so many years.
