Today's 10-minute walk is actually going to start on my bike.

I have a point to make in just a bit, but I'm riding towards where I usually walk to record the podcast.

It is still pre-sunrise.

I'm not even sure I have early

daylight at the moment.

Skies look

clear, but I can't really tell.

I'm riding in a

bike lane. Got some traffic

approaching from behind. So I'm keeping in a bike lane. Got some traffic approaching from behind.

So I'm keeping an eye on the traffic as it approaches.

And passes. We're good to go.

I'm riding along a road that parallels the airport.

So I can see the airport just across the way and beyond the airport,

I can see the tops of a couple of hotels.

Those would be beachfront hotels.

Every now and then as I'm walking along this road and I see those hotels, I imagine the beach just in front of them filled with people enjoying the sunshine and the water.

Of course, here in South Carolina, stays warmer, longer, including the water temperature.

And so people enjoy the ocean well into September and October.

I've even been on the beach in December.

Now, not playing in the ocean, but the weather was warm enough that we took some chairs and sat on the beach
