Today's 10 minute walk is helping you stay fitness consistent, so let's go for a walk.

Today's walk might be a little bit noisier than most.

I, right before tapping record on my phone, two things happened.

Number one, I'm walking near the airport and a plane, I can hear the jet engines rev up.

So that jet might be getting ready to take off. I don't know. And in the other direction,

I saw a large trash truck drive by. And it's heading for a business that is near where I'm walking.

And sometimes when those trash trucks pick up those big metal trash containers,

and they set them down, it makes a lot of noise.

It can even, I've even been out walking when that happens, I wasn't expecting it and it was like this jolt of adrenaline.

So it's possible that, yep, did you hear it?

I was going to say it's possible they might be quiet this time.

And Claudia writes, I think I'm going to switch to a few smaller walks rather than a long one.

I was starting to stress and dread the longer walk. It wasn't physical, it was my head. I kept thinking about how long it would take.

I'll save the longer walks for when I can walk with my husband and we can talk and I can get distracted.

Which I think, by the way, I love Claudia's self-awareness.

But what I want to focus on here is this pivot that Claudia is making. She recognized that this is no longer working, as well as she had hoped, as well as she would like. And so she's going to pivot instead of one longer walk, go take shorter walks, and she's going to save the longer walk for when she can go
