What's up, you muts? It's another edition of Mail Time. It's Memorial Day weekend. Just happen or officially in the summer. So you know what that means. It's hot dogs on the grill season.

0:39.3

Get our comprise mustered summers here. I know it doesn't feel like it, but it's here.

0:44.3

And you know, it's interesting because we've been talking about coronavirus and the way the world has changed for months now.

0:51.8

And I think that there was a... At least in New York, you know, coronavirus I think when it's all said and done, aside from the tragedy and the death, I think the biggest takeaway for me is all about life perspectives.

1:08.8

And it's the only topic in the world I've ever given up on discussing because I learned more so than politics, more so than any of the other religion, any other touchy issues.

1:24.8

When I realized that your experience in New York is like categorically the opposite of someone in all these other parts of the country and that it is not even worth discussing.

1:39.8

And which isn't, you know, it was maybe it was a maturity thing and age thing. I don't know what experience thing, but you know me I'm fucking I'm a loud mouth. I'm stubborn. I'm opinionated.

1:51.8

And I hate people who don't think the way I think and shit like that. But I was like, I don't think the way I think that's absolutely.

2:01.8

I'm arrogant. I'm misinformed. I'm all of it. I check all those boxes. But it happened for me when I wrote the 9-11 comparison blog because at that moment, I mean, at that point we were at a stage where we were finding out.

2:16.8

And family friends had died where it seemed like anybody could catch it and die. And so I was for sure like as emotional as I was during 9-11 and as scared and as upset and all that shit as I was.

2:29.8

And when I saw I usually know what I'm about to get myself in trouble or about to like say some shit, you know. And I sent out that tweet like saying like the death toll has surpassed 9-11 like this is our modern day 9-11.

2:42.8

I did not expect like any backlash or any even like disagreement. And I was like, whoa, holy shit. And that's when I realized that, you know, I was arguing like everyone who was in New York was basically like, yeah, I get it, you know.

2:58.8

And so it was the first time as a blogger or just as like a human who, you know, will debate and discuss that I was like, we can't. We cannot discuss this. It's like we're speaking different languages. It's like you are, you know, what I am talking about, you just haven't experienced at all. So why even bother and certainly why like why argue, you know, we can we can talk about it, but no one's going to win this argument.

3:22.8

So like the DH has that for you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're either you're either a DH person or you're, or you're not. And you're not going to know how you're an ale guy. Yeah, there's never going to be someone who's like, have you thought about like this angle with the DH and I'd be like, you know what?

3:38.8

I have it. Like that's a great point. It's like, no, I know what I think I get it. But anyway, my point being that I there was a point during those like dramatic parts of Corona that I was like, I think the world is different forever.

3:54.8

And I don't know if you know, people are going to get on planes or go to arenas as willingly. I don't know if there's going to be as much like casual sex and like random meetups with strangers. All that shit. And I can without a shred of doubt tell you that is incorrect. And that will a second.

4:14.8

Anybody is given freedom to go out to go places to watch sports to see girls and got they will do it. And I mean, probably to a fault. But you know, there is this.
