Hey, you wrote a terrific story this week that really captivated me

about the growing disconnect between the hopes automakers have of generating lots of revenue from connectivity

and the reality that they've not done that yet. So what gives Molly? Yes, so it turns out that that very ambitious and at this point only about six billion dollars of revenue has been

generated from connected vehicles and and related services like consumer data

part of the reason for that is that automakers have struggled to generate revenue actually from consumer data.
