From Wondry, I'm David Brown, and this is Business Wars Daily on this Wednesday, February 19th. As we all know, fixing what ails us is inconvenient

and expensive, no matter what kind of pain you're feeling. That difficulty extends to the millions

of us who need physical therapy, whether for a sports injury, a car accident, or a chronic

illness. Several new startups have come along to try to make such therapy more convenient,

and ironically, less physical.

One is Hinge Health. The San Francisco company founded five years ago has so far raised

$126 million in funding to grow what's known as virtual physical therapy or tele-rehabilitation.

Hinge announced its latest cash infusion last week, $90 million in a round

led by Bessemer venture partners. Digital PT is the latest development in telehealth, the category

of services that includes telemedicine and telepsychiatry. But neither of those specialties
