| 0:00.0 | questions. The next item of business is First Minister's questions. At question number one, |
| 0:04.6 | I call Douglas Ross. Thank you, President. Today, a low-emission zone came into force in Glasgow. |
| 0:11.2 | It will prevent many vehicles from entering the city centre, and if a driver breaks the rules, |
| 0:16.2 | they could face hefty fines into hundreds of pounds. So can the First Minister tell us how many vehicles |
| 0:24.6 | applied for an exemption to this scheme but were refused? |
| 0:28.6 | First of all, this is of course a scheme run by Glasgow City Council. It is a scheme |

| 1:18.9 | But what I would say to Douglas Ross is I do hope that in his questioning he will be unequivocal |
| 1:24.7 | in his support for LEZs, because of course every single week, |
| 1:30.0 | rightly so, members of this Parliament question this Government on what more we can do to tackle |
| 1:35.5 | the climate emergency. |
| 1:37.1 | In the Conservatives case, every time we bring forward a measure, or indeed the local authorities |
| 1:41.9 | bring forward a measure, they seem to oppose it |
| 1:44.2 | time and time and time again. |
| 1:48.1 | So it is absolutely critical for all of us that believe in tackling this climate emergency |
