You know, many New Directs feel a strong need to earn respect

from those around them from the very beginning.

Right.

That's natural, right?

But unfortunately, they don't know enough about their job, about the internal systems,

about the politics, all those things where they can yet achieve a high effectiveness

right away, and then they get an ask to question, right?

And this is kind of one of these systemic things, right?

That managers can do a lot to help alleviate some of the issues
