Can you introduce yourself to our listeners and share a little bit about what you do? For sure. My name is Brian Grinstead. I'm a senior principal engineer at Mozilla working on Firefox and the web platform. I've worn a bunch of hats at Mozilla since I joined in

2013. I've spent a lot of time thinking about web developers, the Firefox desktop application

and performance. These days, I work with engineering teams across our organization

to make sure we have excellent technical foundations for both Firefox, the browser,

and Gecko, the engine that powers it.

Prior to joining Mozilla, I was a full stack web developer doing dot net

and got really into front-end work at the time.

But I constantly ran into problems with browsers and tools of the day.
