The name, Tiger Beetle. Talk to me about the name.

Tiger Beetle was like a skunk works project.

You know, we've been working on a central bank payment switch.

We were consulting on it.

How do you make this thing faster, safer?

So we were just doing analysis, you know, like everyday work on some big system.

And while we were doing that work, we realized, wow, there's a way to make this system

100 to a thousand times faster.
