The 2024 Paris Olympics kicked off. The today, but one popular topic no one saw coming is Bob the Cap Catcher.

Bob the Cap Catcher is the name he was given by NBC commentators of the Olympics because we don't truly know his name but Bob

made his debut during the women's 100 meter brush stroke he's not an olympian. He's not he's not a contestant. He's just Bob. He's just Bob. So American

swimmer Emma Weber she lost her swimming cap at the bottom of the pool as she was trying to compete.

So everything had to stop until that cap could be pulled out of the pool.

That's where Bob the cap catcher was the man for the job.

A middle-aged man donning an out-of-shape physique in a brightly-colored

speedo. Bob, he jumped in to retrieve the cap, but not without the cheers and applause from the crowd, which

you can actually hear as commentators are trying to be louder than the cheers Bob is getting

for his heroism.

Emma Weber may have lost a cap, but she's wearing more than one.
