Disproportionately, women do that.

Women's CEOs don't pay for, don't pay ourselves while we're taking care of everyone else around us.

And the experience that I had, actually, I was, my husband's also founder, founder.

And so we were moving during COVID.

And because I hadn't paid myself, I've actually never shared this,

because I hadn't paid myself for four years,

I couldn't get a mortgage.

We were moving out of San Francisco,

and I was moving to be next to my Evie,

my niece Evie and my mom, and I couldn't get a loan.

And I had to call my board and have a conversation about,

wow, I am out of alignment with my own values.

While I'm living the mission of candidly to help crush debt and build wealth,

oops, I forgot to do that for myself.

And there are real implication and consequences for that decision.
