I'm Jim Hill and there is so much animation news that has gone on since our last podcast.

Drew, we got what, five minutes before you have to head out for your next junket?

I mean, it's crazy, Jim.

The summer movie season is in full swing, and I'm swinging to catch up with it.

The film to catch right now is Incredibles 2, which I just checked before we got started here.

Box Office Mojo lists through Wednesday of this week and as of Wednesday

this week Incredibles has pulled in 516.2 million dollars domestic which makes it the top grossing animated film of all time at least

domestically right yeah not adjusted for inflation it'll be interesting to see what it

does internationally I doubled back and checked on how the original Incredibles did back in November of 2004.

That made 261.4 million domestic.

So the sequel, 14 years later, has doubled the domestic take or damn near.

We're overseas it made 371.5 million.

So if you follow that pattern that it does roughly one and a third of the

business, it's looking like Incredibles could potentially surpass
