Just out of curiosity, it's been a little bit of a hot weekend, has it not, in Southern California.

How many of you, if you're honest, have like searched for the cool spaces around town this weekend?

Just raise your hand up high. No shame. We're glad you're here. We have AC in this room. So rest of you joining on campus and hot spaces, we can't help you.

But we're so thrilled to be together today. As we have our block party next weekend, you saw already,

we're going to start a brand new series called You Can Do This.

And I'm excited about that series, one, because I think in many ways in our culture we're

being fed a message that we can't do it.

You know, there's so much that comes at us in terms of the inadequacy that we have as humans.

People will say things, and culture will say things that you don't have the power to change.

You often live with those lies in your mind, but God speaks a better word over your

life, that with His help, you can be content, with His help you can have joy, with his help,

you can have peace.

And so we're going to talk about that over a six weeks period of time looking at Psalm 23,

this beautiful passage in the Old Testament of the Bible, And so we want to encourage you to be back.

And by the way, if you look around the room today, just look left and look right.

One thing you'll notice, there's a lot of people in this room.

And so I want to invite any of you who are like early morning people that want to join me

early in the morning to make space to impact more people with the love of Jesus.

We're adding services so that we can make more spaces.

Our church is growing, and we would love to have you join us for that service early in the morning on Sundays.
