Let's bring in Bessemer Venture Partners, Elliot Robinson.

0:58.6

Elliot, happy Friday. Good morning to you. Where are we right now? There is a big debate.

1:03.7

continue to leverage software and every CEO is directing their teams to do more with less.

1:29.1

You know, this impact are things that we're seeing in these Q2 earnings reports thus far,

1:33.3

which is fueling some of the recovery that you guys open the show with.

1:36.3

So the emerging cloud index with Bessemer, roughly 28% up in the last two months alone.

1:42.5

And at the same time, the average valuation multiple

1:44.8

for in-cloud companies is at 9.3x today, which is up from its June low of 6x. With that said,

1:50.8

there's three key pillars I'm tracking in order to assess the current state of the cloud recovery.

1:56.1

First, the hyperscalers. You mentioned some of them to open the show. Amazon AWS,

2:00.2

$79 billion run rate growing 33%.

2:02.6

Microsoft Azure, $55 billion run rate growing 46% and Google GCP clocked in at $25 billion run rate.

2:10.6

This order growing 36% near-year-over-year.

2:13.6

So the strong performance of the cloud hyperscalers, it really does serve as a leading indicator

2:18.7

when it comes to the underpinnings of the cloud ecosystem and future slash performance.

2:23.0
