This week, Dan continues his conversation with Lori Proctor and her business partner, Gene Muscovic.

Lori and Jean have both completed the Allender Center's training certificate,

and they talk

with Dan about how that experience was part of their ongoing journey of restoration, a journey

that has equipped them to step into their calling and pursue their passions in deeper, more

transformative ways.

Well, I have the privilege of being with two dear friends, Gene and Lori, and we're talking

about a new organization called So That. And as we talked the last time, these two women went through

our certificate process. And in that, they began to envision something of what they hope to create on behalf of the kingdom of God,

which is an opportunity for men and women to engage their story,

often in the context of not really naming that their stories involve trauma.

And so, let's just say, in some ways, you're both kind of sneaky.

Yes, very sneaky.

And so I want to go back and really address the question, what do you do?

But just, Gene, I want a little bit of time just to say, who are you?

And what do you uniquely bring to this process of dealing with trauma and abuse,

even when people don't know they've been traumatized or abused?

Well, that's a good question.

I am a teacher probably at the root.

And having gone through my own process not knowing I was traumatized and then just finding such healing and really just whole
