In the New Testament book of 2 Corinthians chapter 12 verse 9, Paul wrote,

My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

You or someone you know is probably weak because of a porn addiction.

Be encouraged. Remember that God's grace can help you overcome. I'm John Fuller, along with Dr. Greg Smalley and his wife,

Aaron. They lead our marriage team. And Greg, you had a problem with porn at one point. And

that could be very humbling. You learned to rely on God in that

recovery. I know you've talked about it. We have a whole podcast series devoted to your recovery

story and help for others. Yeah, because in the beginning, I was so convinced that as I was

struggling with porn, that I could just do this on my own, fix it on my own, you know,

overcome this on my own. And that's part of the sad reality is that we shouldn't ever think

that way much less around pornography, think that we can just deal with this on our own. And that's

why really turning to God, first and foremost,

I think there's humility that you talked about in just saying, God, actually, I can't do this on my own.

That's why I love 2 Corinthians 129 that you read, just had to repeat that verse, that in my weakness,

God, you are strong. You give me that grace. Because, you know,

grace is such a powerful thing. God gives his grace to the humble. And that was so true that

the moment that you're going, God, I really can't do this on my own. I am powerless. I'm

surrendering control to you. Help me to do this. I mean, that's where he's

flooding us with his grace versus that pride flow. I got this. I can deal with this on my own.

I think the big part too for me was really connecting with God's forgiveness. It's really easy. I know Satan prays upon my

brain and wants to flood my mind with see you screwed up again. You're such a failure.

You know, you're not going to have, you know, an effective ministry. You won't be able to do
