Most moms seem to put a lot of pressure on themselves to get things right and many worry constantly

that they're going to mess up their kids, which is probably true. I'm John Fuller along with focused on the

family's head of parenting, Danny Werta, and Danny, dads probably don't worry as

much about these things, do they? Well, I in my I don't want to generalize I want to be

careful with this one John because this also bring personality comes into the

mix here as well but dads do tend to see the issues more due to the

situation and not as much the identity. Moms tend to really take their role as a

mom very personally and there tend to be more comparisons

between moms than there are between dads. Yeah and again these are these are

generalities they're not a hundred percent mom and dad. And it depends on that personality is also what plays in here.

There are some people that are very perfectionistic and that it's not just gender specific.

It's male and female, right, in that regard.

So we're not here to be perfect, and moms do tend to take on more of that pressure.

And for the moms thinking, wait a minute, John said they're worried they're going to mess up their kids and they will.

Well, we dads do that too.

It's, I'm very aware that I've messed up my kids.

But there is hope and there's freedom if you want to get rid of the perfectionistic parenting.
