Summary
Every adversity, no matter how traumatic it is, has to have something as big and beautiful on the other side of it.
Right now, we’re going through some difficult moments, but this gives us the opportunity to realize that we should not let any day pass without telling people how much we love them because we can’t predict what’s going to happen. All we have is the present moment, and we are learning not to take it for granted.
In this episode, one of my favorite guests, Nada, is joining me once again, to teach us how to navigate through the pain of losing a loved one or experiencing other kinds of trauma. She also explains how she managed not only to move on after her daughter’s death but also to come on the other side as one of the most positive people I’ve met.
Nada Hogan is a certified Dream Builder Life Coach and Life Mastery Consultant, and she has built her epic life from the epic loss of her 18-year-old daughter, Darah. She is an acupuncturist, oriental medicine practitioner, and now, she is also a vibrational sound healer.
Listen to Episode 35 of Rejuvenaging, to learn how you can deal with the unexpected loss of a dear one, especially during this pandemic that has made it harder to say your goodbye.
Questions I ask:
- What are you doing these days to cope with staying at home and dealing with trying to protect yourself and your loved ones? (04:35)
- Is the vibrational sound bath for everyone? (11:00)
- Based on your history, what advice can you give to somebody who has experienced one of those unthinkable losses? (18:42)
- How can we put things in perspective that may have some carryover on the other side of this, when we hopefully don’t have to revert to being overly petty about our concerns? (31:26)
- Were you always this positive person or is it something that you studied or worked on? (35:56)
In this episode, you will learn:
- What a vibrational sound bath is. (07:58)
- How Nada overcame the loss of her daughter. (14:08)
- How role reversal can help people that have experienced an unexpected loss to say their goodbyes. (23:05)
- How to help the people around you that have lost their loved ones during the pandemic and couldn’t make a proper funeral for them. (25:28)
