Summary

Whether you're traveling for work or pleasure, finding abundance and sustenance while on the road is easy once you know where to look and if you plan ahead (which I argue should be done even when you're NOT traveling).

With loads of general tips for finding vegan food in airports, preparing for airplanes, choosing veg-friendly hotels, and traveling internationally, I flesh out this episode with details of my recent travels to Ireland, interpersing food tales with some of our favorite things to do — related to literature (Yeats and more), history (particularly in Dublin and Kilkenny), nature (hikes in Connemara), and animal protection (Donkey Sanctuary and Ballynahinch Castle).

ENJOY!

1:20.0

thought you would enjoy this one from the archives. As always, with rebroadcasts, you may hear

1:25.0

things that are no longer relevant in this episode. For instance, you might hear a mention of

1:30.4

the Compassionate Cooks Club, this episode originally aired in 2010. And before we were using Patreon,

1:39.1

we had a Compassionate Cooks Club. So for instance, that is no longer relevant. I might mention

1:46.4

restaurants that are no longer in business, but the core message is timeless. That living vegan,

1:52.5

traveling as a vegan is a joyful, sustainable, delicious way to live and travel. I hope you get

2:00.5

that impression listening to this episode. It was also a bit nostalgic revisiting this episode. I

2:06.4

cut some things from the introduction where I announced that three of my books were either coming

2:13.4

out or had just come out. That was Colour Me Vegan, Vegan's Daily Companion and the 30-day vegan

challenge. And as I always say, the only constant in our lives is change. And today, as I record

2:27.0

this new introduction, Colour Me Vegan and Vegan's Daily Companion are now out of print,

2:32.4

which is why I urge you to enjoy my recipes in my recipe packets and in my on-demand classes.
