Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. I hope you're ready to get your mind

aligned with the truth of God. Hey I wonder if you can remember a time in your life when you found something that you were not seeking

and it was quite a surprise to you in fact a good surprise.

Can you think of something right off the top of your head? You see our lives are filled with these kinds of things where we come across something that is such a blessing, such a joy, such a wonderful thing in our lives and we weren't even looking

for it. But God in His goodness makes it a part of our lives and we're blessed by it. That's very much what we're looking at in Romans

chapter 10 verses 18 through 21. The apostle Paul is speaking still about the

Jewish people and about the

circumstance that they found themselves in when Jesus came to the earth.

He said they were seeking God with a kind of a zeal

that seemed to be evident that they really knew God, but he's saying they actually

were seeking in the wrong way. They were not pursuing a righteousness that comes by faith.

And so. a righteousness that comes by faith.

And so, Paul continuing on in Romans chapter 10,

verses 18 through 21 says,

but I ask, have they not heard? He's talking about the Jews when he says they. Indeed, they have.

For their voice has gone out to all the earth in their words to the ends of the world. So Paul is talking about the testimony

of creation by quoting the Old Testament, that the earth itself, the creation itself has made known the glory of God. And that was enough for the Jewish

people and anyone else by that matter to begin seeking God and to realize he's bigger than they can grasp.

He says in verse 19, but I ask, did Israel not understand?

For Moses says, I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation with a foolish

nation I will make you angry. Now that's a quote from the Old Testament from
