Summary

Romans 10:18-21 - But I ask, have they not heard? Indeed they have, for “Their voice has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.” 19 But I ask, did Israel not understand? First Moses says, “I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation; with a foolish nation I will make you angry.” 20 Then Isaiah is so bold as to say, “I have been found by those who did not seek me; I have shown myself to those who did not ask for me.” 21 But of Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”

He said they were seeking God with a kind of a zeal

that seemed to be evident that they really knew God, but he's saying they actually

1:06.7

were seeking in the wrong way. They were not pursuing a righteousness that comes by faith.

1:12.4

And so. a righteousness that comes by faith.

And so, Paul continuing on in Romans chapter 10,

1:17.0

verses 18 through 21 says,

but I ask, have they not heard? He's talking about the Jews when he says they. Indeed, they have.

1:28.3

For their voice has gone out to all the earth in their words to the ends of the world. So Paul is talking about the testimony

1:36.2

of creation by quoting the Old Testament, that the earth itself, the creation itself has made known the glory of God. And that was enough for the Jewish

people and anyone else by that matter to begin seeking God and to realize he's bigger than they can grasp.

1:55.0

He says in verse 19, but I ask, did Israel not understand?

1:59.8

For Moses says, I will make you jealous of those who are not a nation with a foolish

nation I will make you angry. Now that's a quote from the Old Testament from
