Summary

Do you need healing in your life? Of course you do! We all suffer physically, spiritually, and emotionally. In this week's show, we discuss two Gospel passages that are helpful to reflect on when in need of healing. We talk about ways we can "get out of our own way" when it comes to finding peace and healing from God. Gospel passages cited: Mark 2:16-17 Luke 13:10-17 In this show, I also share some feedback from Taylor, who is a young wife, newly-pregnant with twins and has some concerns about her babies' health. Please let us remember to pray for Taylor, that God might give her peace and strength throughout this pregnancy. We also share a question about fair trade and the ethics of shopping from listener Maggie. Let me know what you think! Some Places Danielle Will Be: I hope to meet you! February 10 Danielle will be speaking at the Phoenix Catholic Women’s Conference February 17 Danielle will be speaking at Together in Holiness marriage conference in Tulsa, OK February 24 Danielle will be speaking that the Catholic Women of Faith Conference in Nashville, TN March 10 Danielle will be speaking at the Rochester Catholic Women’s Conference in Rochester, NY

morning. I'm recording this, not from home, but from a hotel room in Massachusetts,

0:53.2

where I'm staying because I'm putting in a day's

0:56.2

work in the office at Holy Cross Family Ministries south of Boston today. So sometimes it's a little

1:03.2

easier if I come in the night before, which is what I did last night. And a funny thing about

1:08.4

traffic around Boston, if you travel at night, there's none of it, or comparatively speaking, none of it.

1:14.8

So it goes a lot faster than trying to drive in in the morning.

1:19.2

Anyway, so I'm here for a day working on Catholic mom.com with Holy Cross Family Ministries.

1:26.0

New job is going really well. I'm super, super grateful to be

where I am and to be working with the amazing people at Holy Cross Family Ministries. But also with

1:37.9

Lisa Hendy, I shared with you that we're going to be putting together a podcast. We've been working

1:42.0

on that. Can't wait to share it with you. Can't wait

1:45.2

to be doing that, bringing that kind of media to you on a regular basis. So really, really happy

1:51.3

and excited. So thank you for those of you who reached out to inquire about my job, how it's going,

1:56.6

and congratulate me on the new position. It really is going well, and I'm so grateful.

2:01.1

God is so good to have brought me this opportunity right now.
