Hey, you guys, welcome to Heels Survive and Thrive. We're going to talk about something that is very personal for me because I went through it as well.

In today's episode, I want to really talk about the topic of, I think women mostly face it. I mean, men face it too, obviously. But it's the financial struggles that we go through when we're going through a divorce or a breakup.

So whether you were maybe financially dependent on your partner or you're just finding yourself

now in a little bit of a tight spot, you're trying to navigate the financial challenges that

come post breakup, post-divorce, and it can feel really overwhelming. It's stress.

And I mean, it can keep you up at night. Like, it's constantly in the back of your mind. You

don't know what it's going to look like. And let's add on the responsibility of also being

a single mom or a single parent and the pressure that you feel is so much more intense because of that.

So what I want to talk about is really gaining financial independence.

And, you know, I'm not a financial advisor, so I'm not going to tell you what to invest in

or what to do.

I'll give you a little bit of a breakdown of what I did, basically, but this is more

about how to manage struggles that we all face. Struggle is struggle, whether it's financial,

whether it's health, whether it's emotional, whether, I mean, the list goes on and on,

but it's more about understanding how to overcome struggle and your

mindset and how you feel about yourself and the discipline that you need to have within the

mind in order to set a goal and reach it. So the goal is financial freedom. While that may seem

like such a stretch and may seem completely impossible, you can

absolutely create financial freedom and stability because that's absolutely what you deserve.

have independence and you can rebuild your life not just emotionally but also financially
