Thanks for having me, Miranda. Now, you talk a lot about helping children understand money. Is that right?

That's right. I guess let's start with the bad things

people do. So what are some of the ways we don't properly teach our children about money?

Probably the biggest problem is just that parents don't start a conversation because I think a lot of

it is that we all have made money

mistakes and we all have a certain amount of money shame, but we don't want to let that

keep us from starting some kind of program with our kids to teach them about money because

it's so important that they do learn. And if we aren't intentional about teaching them,

they're going to learn and they're probably going to learn from sources that you may not approve of.
